Guidelines & copyright

How VeltrixIITJEE is meant to be used, and what belongs to whom

1. Your account

Your account is for you alone. Sharing your login with anyone — friends, relatives, other batches — is not allowed and leads to removal.
You may use up to three of your own devices. Logging in on a fourth signs out the oldest.
Access is granted by your teacher and can be paused or withdrawn at any time, for example for non-payment or misuse.

2. Videos, notes and questions are copyrighted

All video lessons, notes, practice questions, explanations and other study material on VeltrixIITJEE are the property of VeltrixIITJEE and are protected by copyright. They are provided to you for your own personal study only.

Do not download, screen-record, photograph, copy, print, or redistribute any video or notes, in whole or in part.
Do not upload material to YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp groups, Drive links, or any other site or app.
Do not sell, rent, or share material with anyone who is not an approved student.
Every video carries a watermark tied to your login. Leaked material can be traced to the account it came from; that account is removed and the matter may be taken further under the Copyright Act, 1957.

3. Group chat rules

The group is for study: doubts, class updates, notes and encouragement.
Be respectful. No abuse, bullying, harassment, or comments on anyone's caste, religion, gender, looks or family.
No sharing of exam papers, answer keys, or material from other coaching institutes.
No spam, forwards, politics, or promotion of products and channels.
Your teacher can delete messages, pin notices, and remove students from the group.

4. Veltrix AI

Veltrix AI is a study aid, not a teacher. It can be wrong. Verify important answers with your teacher, and use the "Report wrong answer" button when something looks off.
Use it for Physics, Chemistry, Maths and exam preparation only. Off-topic use may be limited.
There is a fair daily limit per student so that it stays available to everyone.

5. Your privacy

We store your name, email, phone (if you add it), your progress (videos opened, practice answers, focus sessions), and messages you send in your batch group. This is used only to run the app and to let your teacher see how you're doing. Your email is never shown to other students. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else. Video links are private and expire within an hour.

6. Fair use and availability

The app is provided as-is. We aim to keep it available at all times but cannot guarantee it during maintenance, outages of our providers, or events outside our control. Accounts that misuse the app, attempt to bypass its protections, or harm other students may be removed without refund.

7. Credits

Typefaces: Sora and Inter, used under the SIL Open Font License.
Illustrations, icons, cover art and the Veltrix mascot were designed for VeltrixIITJEE.

8. Contact

Questions about these guidelines, or to report misuse: message your teacher in the batch group, or use the email on the login page.
